Mercury

Mercury is one of the earth-like planets and is the smallest of our solarsystem and the closest to the sun. There the strongest known temperature variations take place. Since the griffins could not get uset to the extreme eytreme heat of the days, they have adapted to the nights. Unlike the griffins, which live on Mars, they only venture out of their dens at night. They have thicker fur and denser feathers. With their big eyes they are able to see everything during the night. Sometimes when they miss the sunlight too much, they hide in one of the countless craters and just watch the day pass by.
